We celebrated the New Lisbon Homecoming the only way we know how…EVERYDAY!

We kicked the week off following the high school dress up days to show team spirit. It was filled with America Day, Wacky Tacky Day, Twin or Triplet Day, Surf’s Up, and of course our favorite Rocket Pride!

We finished the week off participating in the Homecoming Day Parade and with our own Homecoming Video.

With Hurricane Harvey unleashing its power on Texas, our work study student, Hannah Slater knew she wanted to help.

Hannah quickly talked her parents, Brian and Hollie, into action. Hannah had a connection with her Young American Miss International Pageant in Texas and quickly made arrangements with the Coastal Bend Family Worship Center in Aransas Pass, Texas.

We delivered just over 42,000 pounds of food to aide those directly affected from Hurricane Harvey.

A huge thank you to our friends at On Wisconsin/Cargo Pros for delivering our food on time and without hesitation.

The 10th Annual Stepping for Hunger!

This year’s Stepping for Hunger was extra special being the 10th and final Stepping for Hunger. To date, together we have raised just over 76,000 dollars.

Every single dollar raised for the past 10 years has gone directly to the 4 Juneau County Food Pantries.  It has been a community event for the community. And we couldn’t have been more thankful for our loyal following that have participated in the very first 5k and 10k to our last Stepping for Hunger 5k and 10k.

September is Hunger Action Month.

This September we helped out at the Mobile Food Pantry. This mobile food pantry is new adventure that Hollie Slater started this summer.  This mobile food pantry helps out Juneau County Residents in need.

Together we were able to serve over 460 people and just over 150 families.

Brian and Hollie love the community and are uber competitive. So they obviously signed us up to play, I mean, win charity Donkey Basketball.

We ended up winning the Championship Game. Lucas Kleifgen was named MVP and is currently fielding offers from Professional Donkey Basketball Leagues.

On May 18, 2016 Brian and Hollie Slater donated $5,000 to the newly created K9 Fund.

The New Lisbon Police Department is anxiously awaiting the opportunity to add their first K9 Unit to the department. They believe with the addition of the K9 they will be able to perform various duties more thoroughly and safely.

Get ready to run!!!! This year’s Stepping for Hunger will be September 17!

To date Stepping For Hunger has raised over $60,000. all proceeds have gone directly to the 5 Juneau County food pantries. Along with monetary donations, we collect toothbrushes, non-perishable food items and also volunteer our own time at the pantries.

Get moving for a great cause!

Every single dollar raised goes directly to the 5 Juneau County Food Pantries! No joke, 0% of your entry fee goes towards race planning, preparations, volunteers, chip timing. ZERO. It’s a race for the community by the community!

So get moving and let us cross the finish line together!

On April 14, 2016 Brian and Hollie presented the New Lisbon Education Foundation a check for $100,000.

The New Lisbon Education Foundation is dedicated to giving the student athletes and the community the track and fields of dreams.  The city currently houses the oldest facilities in the conference and in the area. The circular dirt track is no longer usable. The facility does not currently meet safety standards are aren’t Americans with Disabilities Act compliant.

With this donation, the school can officially start on phase one and start construction of a new softball field.
